Matex Products was incorporated in 1980 as a Delaware Corporation to import planetary gear modules and accessories from Matex Co. in Osaka, Japan. Matex gear modules are patented in both Japan and the United States.

Modules incorporate roller discs on both sides of the planet gears to ensure optimum engagement at high RPM.
